A Living Tradition of Faith, Community & Action

For generations, the Black Church has been the spiritual and civic anchor of our communities. "Souls to the Polls" honors this proud history by turning our Sunday worship into active stewardship for our neighbors and future generations.

Immediately following our 10:30 AM morning worship service, the Carter congregation will assemble in the church parking lot for prayer, driver staging, and caravan dispatch. Together, we will ride and walk to our designated Tarrant County Early Voting site to cast our ballots side-by-side. Afterward, we will gather back at the Carter Fellowship Hall to enjoy a shared, hot community meal and celebrate our collective voice.

Verify Before You Vote • Active vs. Suspended Status

Check Your Voter Registration Status

Make sure your voter registration is currently active and not suspended or flagged before heading to the polls. In Texas, registrations may be placed on the "Suspense List" if you moved, if an address confirmation card was missed, or if voter records were flagged. Use the official lookup tools below to verify your standing right now!

What Does It Mean if Your Registration is "Suspended" or "Flagged"?

If your status in the Texas registry shows as "Suspense" (marked with an "S"), you are still a registered voter, but the county needs to confirm your address. You can still cast a regular ballot by signing a Statement of Residence at your polling place. However, if your registration was canceled or flagged as inactive, taking action now ensures no delays or surprises on voting day!

Check your county below to confirm your status is active and error-free:
