Twelve Tribes of Judah Giving Campaign

Over 116 years ago, Carter Metropolitan opened its doors on White Avenue after Eugene and Birdie Rollins began holding weekly Bible study and prayer gatherings in front of their ice cream parlor to meet the spiritual and everyday needs of their community.

More than a century later, Carter Metropolitan continues to stand as an inclusive, forward‑thinking church and a faith‑based leader in the community, rooted in the legacy of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, one of the oldest African American denominations in the South.

As we honor our 116th Anniversary, Carter Metropolitan is reimagining every ministry to better serve our hybrid church family and the families in our neighborhood. To support this vision, we are launching the Twelve Tribes of Judah Campaign, which will provide essential funding to help us meet our most urgent needs and strengthen our ministries for the next 100 years.
